Gallery Night Providence, November 18, 5 - 9 pm
For the holiday season Bert Gallery has assembled a fine selection of artwork by local artists past and present. Shop for creative holiday gifts this season!
The exhibit runs from November 9 through December 24, 2004. The gallery is located on 540 South Water Street in Providence, RI and is open 11-5pm Tuesday through Friday, and 12-4pm on Saturday. The gallery is closed Sunday and Monday.

Highlights include:
- Carmel Vitullo: Providence black and white photos from 1952 ($350 each).
- Victoria Mathiesen: Providence cityscapes. Limited edition prints ($60 each).
- Ruth Forrest (1916-1994) The complete set of 15 illustrations for the children’s book, “The Elephant and the Kangaroo,” by Dorothy Westcott.
- A selection of historic and contemporary Rhode Island artists.
- Bonnie Buck’s latest sterling silver jewelry (from $35 – $350).
- Eliza Gardiner (1871-1955) A wonderful selection of color woodblocks for the devoted print collector (from $500 - $1,500).
During Gallery Night Providence, November 18th, there will be
- Cookie and Cider Reception with artist demonstrations between 6 – 8pm.
- Painter Victoria Mathiesen presentation: “the Subtleties of Pen and Ink”
- Jeweler Bonnie Buck presentation: “Jewelry making from Concept to Reality.”
In the spirit of the season, a percentage of sales of Bonnie Buck jewelry will go to the charity, “Clare’s Cradle,” at Woman and Infants’ Hospital. For more information call 401-751-2628
